Stand in front of our e-liquid wall for the first time and it's a lot: nic salts, shortfills, different mg strengths, different bottle sizes. Here's the short version that actually matters when you're choosing.
Nicotine Salts
Nic salts are a form of nicotine that hits smoother at higher strengths, absorbs faster, and is designed to feel closer to a cigarette. They typically come in small 10ml bottles at 10mg or 20mg.
- Best for: pod kits, low-wattage devices, ex-smokers wanting a stronger, faster hit
- Bottle size: usually 10ml, ready to use straight from the bottle
- Strength: commonly 10mg or 20mg
Shortfills
Shortfills come in larger bottles (50ml or 100ml) filled to leave room for a nicotine shot, which you add yourself to reach your preferred strength — or use at 0mg if you vape nicotine-free.
- Best for: sub-ohm tanks and mods, bigger clouds, lower nicotine strengths
- Bottle size: 50ml–100ml, mixed with nic shots
- Strength: typically ends up around 3mg or 6mg once shots are added
Can You Mix and Match?
Yes — plenty of our regulars keep a nic salt pod kit for daily use and a shortfill mod for evenings or weekends. There's no rule saying you have to pick one system for good.
Still not sure which strength suits you?
Tell us how much you used to smoke or vape and we'll recommend a starting strength — it's easier to adjust from there than to guess.
